Jetstar signs codeshare agreement with Indigo

Jetstar and Indigo have signed a codeshare agreement, paving the way for the launch of new routes.

Jetstar’s program expands

Thanks to this agreement, the Australian carrier can offer its passengers new travel opportunities. The Qantas-owned low-cost airline will now be able to place its codeshare on flights operated by the Indian airline, offering its passengers the opportunity to travel on new routes operated by Indigo, such as flights connecting Delhi to Sydney via Singapore, or Mumbai to Melbourne via Bangkok.

Indigo can place its codeshare on several Jetstar flights.

By leveraging its agreement with Jetstar, Indigo will now be able to market the Australian airline’s flights from Australia and New Zealand, such as flights between Delhi and the Gold Coast via Singapore, or direct flights between Chennai and Kuala Lumpur.

“We are very excited to implement this new codeshare agreement which will clearly benefit our customers in connecting major cities in Australia and New Zealand,” said Abhijit DasGupta, Senior Vice President and Network Planning & Revenue Management at Indigo.
